Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi Smart Glasses, which is the company's first new smart eye wearable technology. The Xiaomi Smart Glasses have the appearance of regular sunglasses, but they are equipped with sensors and an imaging system that allow them to perform a variety of smart functions such as navigation and real-time text translation.

In addition to being lightweight (weighing only 51 grams), the Xiaomi Smart Glasses incorporate revolutionary MicroLED optical waveguide technology to display messages and notifications directly in front of your eyes, according to the company.

It is also said that the Xiaomi Smart Glasses will be able to conduct phone calls, provide navigation via augmented reality (AR), capture images, and translate text right in front of your very eyes.

The new Xiaomi Smart Glasses have been introduced, however, there has been no word on pricing or availability information at this time. It is expected that the Smart Glasses will initially be made available in China before being made available in other parts of the world.

Xiaomi's new Smart Glasses will compete with Facebook's recently released Ray-Ban Stories smart glasses, which were designed in collaboration with Ray-Ban. For several of its capabilities, Facebook has adapted the classic Wayfarer frames and inserted smart components into the design.

The Xiaomi Smart Glasses get a square-shaped design with a band that runs across the top of the Smartglasses. The ring that rests on top of the ears is slightly thick, indicating that it is likely to include sensors.

Since it has already been mentioned, the Xiaomi Smart Glasses make use of MicroLED imaging technology in order to reduce both the amount of structural design space required and the total weight of the gadget.

MicroLEDs, according to Xiaomi, have a better pixel density and a more straightforward structure. This enables for a more compact display as well as better integration of the screen into the overall system. It has a display chip that measures only 2.4x2.02mm in size.

Xiaomi claims that the display is close to the size of a grain of rice when viewed under a microscope, with individual pixels measuring 4 microns in size.

Xiaomi has chosen a monochromatic display technology in order to enable adequate light to get through, and the device is reported to be capable of attaining a peak brightness of 2 million nits at its brightest.

According to the business, the Xiaomi Smart Glasses incorporate a total of 497 parts, which include small sensors and communication modules, among others.

According to Xiaomi, the wearable is capable of doing independent tasks such as navigating, taking images, serving as a teleprompter, and providing real-time text and photo translations, among other things.

According to Xiaomi, the Smart Glasses would also reduce interruptions at inconvenient times and provide crucial information when it is needed.

The new Xiaomi Smart Glasses are lightweight, weighing only 51 grams, and they are compatible with the XiaoAI artificial intelligence assistant for voice requests. In this case, we are talking about the 'main interaction approach." Notifications will be filtered out by the Smart glasses, and only the most important ones will be displayed.

Smart home alerts, essential information from business apps, and communications from important contacts, for example, will be given precedence over all other messages in the system.

The new Smart glasses are equipped with a built-in dual beamforming microphone and speaker, allowing them to be used for phone calls. Aside from that, Xiaomi Smart Glasses can project real-time roads and maps in front of your eyes, allowing you to maintain your concentration on the road in a safe and convenient manner.

The Xiaomi Smart Glasses are equipped with a 5-megapixel camera, which can be used to snap images and interpret text, among other things. According to the business, the Xiaomi Smart Glasses are also capable of transcribing sounds into text and providing real-time translations.

Additionally, a quad-core ARM processor, a touchpad, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity are all included as standard. According to Xiaomi, the Smart Glasses are powered by the Android operating system.

Other Smart Glasses options in India:

Microsoft HoloLens Smart Glasses

Microsoft HoloLens is an augmented reality headset that provides us with apps and solutions that increase our productivity. Due to the inclusion of Iris Recognition and Azure support, the HoloLens is unquestionably the most advanced of the AR glasses on this list.

These companies have developed specialized AR applications, such as Dynamics 365, that allow users to interact with virtual objects.

Although, at a cost of 2.2 Lakhs at the time of writing this, it is most likely the most highly priced. You can purchase it from the company's official website.

Snap Spectacles 3 (also known as Snap Spectacles 3) Smart Glasses

Snapchat's Spectacles have the look and feel of something from the 1980s. These Smart glasses are pre-installed with a camera, which allows us to take pictures with them. Despite the fact that it essentially does the same thing as a GoPro, it allows us to manage our photographs without having to touch our smartphones.

Despite the fact that it is not as advanced as the HoloLens, it certainly accomplishes the task at hand. Additionally, it is cost-effective and has recently made its debut in India.

These smart glasses, which costs 29,999, are certainly well-made and do the job well enough.

Epson Moverio Smart Glasses

Epson has also made a foray into the world of augmented reality technology. It is powered by an Intel processor and has a user interface that is based on Android. You can run simulations, such as drones, to see how drones fly and to learn more about drones.

It also has the capability of converting normal images into 3D for a more innovative viewing experience.

It has a similar appearance and feels to Google Glasses, and it is also very comfortable. Despite the fact that it is one of the most affordable devices on this list (at 2,200), it does not have many game-changing functionalities.

JIO Smart Glasses

In addition, Reliance isn't holding back in this area. Reliance announced its new augmented reality Smartglasses during its Annual General Meeting, which took place just a few hours ago. They are intended for teachers and students who wish to participate in 3D Holographic classrooms made possible by their AR service.

While delivering the keynote address, Kiran Thomas, President of Reliance Industries Limited, said, "Jio Glass is at the forefront of technology, providing best-in-class Mixed Reality services to give users a truly meaningful immersive experience."

Jio Smart Glasses will also ship with 25 pre-installed apps that can be used for a variety of tasks; however, it is unclear whether or not the company will allow developers to create third-party applications.

Although the pricing has not yet been announced, it can be assumed that the idea will be cost-effective due to the fact that it is based in India.

Google Smart Glasses

Despite the fact that Google is no longer manufacturing Google Smart Glasses, it is still available for purchase on Amazon and Flipkart. Google was one of the first companies to bring augmented reality technology to the general public.

When Google Assistant is integrated into a system, it can be used to perform nearly all of the daily tasks.

It isn't cheap, at 80,000, but it does exactly what is needed to establish a foothold in this market segment.
