Launch in January 2022: Xiaomi 11i to support Hypercharge, 120Hz Display
- The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ could be renamed the Xiaomi 11i
- It might run on a MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor
- The Xiaomi 11i will feature hyper charging of 120 watts
According to a business executive, the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge would have a display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1200 nits.
The announcement comes just a few days after the Chinese company stated that the next Xiaomi phone will be capable of 120W rapid charging capability.
The Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+, which was revealed in China earlier this year. It will also have a 5G connection, according to rumors. Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge is scheduled to be released in India at the same time as the ordinary Xiaomi 11i.
According to a tweet provided by Xiaomi Senior Marketing Manager Sandeep Sarma, the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge will feature an "ultra-bright 1200 nits display" that "supports 120Hz refresh rate."
The Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge will be available in two colors: black and white. In addition, the photograph given by the executive suggests that the handset will feature a hole-punch cut-out that is centered on the device.
While it has not been confirmed, the rumor mill has suggested that the Xiaomi smartphone would include an AMOLED display of some sort.
In a statement released last week, Xiaomi said that the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge will be the quickest charging smartphone in India and that it would support 120W fast charging.
As a member of the Xiaomi 11i line, the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge is rumored to be a rebranded Redmi Note 11 Pro+, which arrived alongside the Redmi Note 11 5G in China earlier this month.
There is a possibility that the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge would debut in India with a single storage option.
If the rumor that the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge is a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is correct, the handset is said to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
There are a variety of RAM and storage configuration options available for the MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC that will be used to power the Xiaomi 11i.
It should have a triple-camera arrangement on the back, with the main sensor that is 108 megapixels. The Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge is also expected to have a battery with a capacity of 4,500mAh.
Other features could include JBL stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, and High-Resolution audio support, among others. The Xiaomi 11i could be equipped with NFC functionality as well as VC liquid cooling.
