Citroen, the French automobile manufacturer, is set to introduce its second model in India. The Citroen C3, which was first unveiled in September of last year, has already been sighted running on Indian roads on many occasions. Citroen is expected to introduce the C3 SUV in the near future.

It is expected to compete with vehicles such as the Tata Punch and the Maruti Suzuki Ignis, among others.

The photographs, which were posted on Instagram by a user, show a white Citroen C3 being tested without any camouflage.

The Citroen C3 describes as a hatchback that has SUV influences, which is evident in its exterior appearance, which features hefty black claddings on all sides and a rakish front end.

The fundamental exterior characteristics of the Tata Punch compact SUV are quite reminiscent of this design.

A wide, muscular bonnet with the iconic Citroen logo and a slim double-slat grille bordered by split LED headlamp units to distinguish the Citroen C3's appearance from the rest of the lineup.

Both sides of the Citroen C3 have silver underskirts featuring foglamp housings made of black plastic. Rear-end styling features include curved taillights and a hefty bumper coated in matte black plastic.

In addition to being built upon the Common Modular Platform (CMP), the Citroen C3 has a wheelbase that spans 2,540 millimeters. Citroen claims that the passengers in the back seats would also have one of the finest legroom in the class, according to the manufacturer.

The Citroen C3 will also have 180 millimeters of ground clearance, which is somewhat less than the 180 mm offered by the Tata Punch sedan. The Citroen C3 boasts a turning radius of 10 meters, making it a vehicle that is easy to maneuver.

It comes with a one-liter glovebox and a boot that holds 315 liters. In addition, the Citroen C3 comes with a phone clip for the front seat occupants.

Despite the fact that Citroen has not given any specifics on the engine, the Citroen C3 is expected to be powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine that produces 130 horsepower and will be paired to either a seven-speed automatic transmission or a five-speed manual transmission.
